US Foods Chicken Splitter in Hawthorne, California
Prepare quality cuts of chicken according to customer specifications using company standards and adhering to all safety requirements.
Trim and customize portions of chicken products using knives.
Debone chicken, cut into portion sizes
Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications
Label portion with supplied number product labels
Set up cutting area as required
Keep cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.
Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitaryconditions
Work continually in a refrigerated environment35°F- 45°F
Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned.

Education/Training : A high school diploma or GED equivalent ispreferred. Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast-paced productionenvironment.Finish time is when work iscompleted and could require overtime with or without notice.
Skilledas a specialty chicken cutter using knives required; minimum (1) yearexperience as a chicken cutter. Experience with other meat production equipmentis preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Knowledge ofall poultry products
Knowledge of USDA grades and standards.
