US Foods Tech Support Analyst Lead in Tempe, Arizona

Job Description:

Basic Purpose-

US Foods is seeking a technically strong individual to mentor and lead the activities of a team of highly skilled technical support analysts. Lead should keep abreast of new technologies, incorporate these when appropriate and motivate others to utilize them. They will serve as a point of escalation for complex issues interacting directly with operations staff, engineering, and development team members across the IT organization.



  • Mentors highly skilled technical support team members as needed.
  • Facilitate the development of an internal certification process within technical support. Ultimately responsible for the certification of lower level associates.
  • Participate in the recovery and troubleshooting efforts of large scale and complex application environments as well as including the associated infrastructure and network components.
  • Ensures technical and operational documentation is complete, accurate, relevant and up to date.
  • Interacts directly Business Relationship managers, distribution center operations staff and Sr manager as well as engineering and development team members across the IT organization.
  • Keeps abreast of new technologies, incorporates those technologies when appropriate and motivates others to utilize them.
  • Has decision-making responsibility within the discipline and escalates any issues which cannot be resolved to the Sr. Manager.

Education/Training:B.S. preferred

Related Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in Client Support (Example: deploying software via BigFix, troubleshooting desktop and laptop issues, imaging and deploying laptops, physically adding hardware, etc.)
  • 5 years’ experience in general IT
  • 2 years’ experience in Office 365
  • 2 years' experience in supply chain and warehouse operations
  • PowerShell experience a plus


  • Achieved role with an increasing level of reasonability
  • Ability & expected to gain experience in multiple domains over a relatively short period of time
